Premium fuels - price gouging.

The price gap for premium fuel is annoying at times.

In the past, I was a (relatively) happy and somewhat loyal Shell Optimax/V-power buyer.
However, after I realised that they sold it to my wife at a 16cents premium over the standard unleaded price, then I decided that they had gouged me enough. I have not bought from Shell since.

The other day, I went with my wife to get fuel at my new regular petrol station. It is a Caltex (Woolworths branded). They sold me the Vortex98 fuel at a 13 cent premium to the standard unleaded price. I suspect it is time to check out the competition again. GRRRRRRRRR.

btw: I am referring to normal 100% petrol, none of this SH*T Ethanol blended CR*P. Its not convincing when the government that mandates the use, also happens to take large political donations (you put 2 and 2 together!).
